Welcome to the Nellis Senior Squadron website.

Our website is intended to give you a better understanding of the Civil Air Patrol's mission and role in Americans aerospace history.

Nellis Senior Squadron is comprised of adult members only, therefore we do not have a cadet section within our squadron. We do, however, support the three cadet squadrons within the Vegas Valley area with cadet orientation flights, and participation in search and rescue exercises (SAREX) .

Our squadron membership consists of pilots, flight crews, mission base personnel and a small but growing number of ground team members.

If you are not a pilot and do not have a desire to fly, you are welcome to join our team of Incident Command Staff members or ground team. There are many mission base staff positions available.  For those who want to volunteer to support their community, state, and country, the Civil Air Patrol may be your answer.
